Enforce environmental laws, investigate oil and chemical spills, and conduct marine environmental protection operations.

Conduct law enforcement operations including drug interdiction, search and rescue, and port security.

Perform as a member of the Coast Guard Band in concerts, ceremonies, and official functions.

Operate radio, radar, and command systems at small boat stations and command centers during SAR and law enforcement operations.

Produce news, photography, video, and social media content to communicate Coast Guard missions to the public.

Manage supply accounts, maintain inventory, and procure supplies and equipment for Coast Guard units.

Prepare and serve food for Coast Guard personnel at shore stations and aboard cutters.

Perform administrative, personnel, and clerical functions for Coast Guard commands.
